Egypt crisis: Army ousts President Mohammed Morsi

Egypt's interim leader Adly Mansour

Fomer President Mohammed Morsi

Egypt's army has removed President Mohammed Morsi from power, suspended the constitution and pledged new elections following mass protests.

This move has been tagged by different people and institutions as a different type of coup preceded by protests ending in celebrations and fire works..and possibly more protests.

Following a non-violent change of power in Egypt last night, various terms have been used to describe what happened but these quick reaction amongst many others, speak volumes: 1) According to Farwaz Gerges a professor at London School of Economics, "Mohammed Morsi was his own worst enemy, He mastered the art of making enemies and blunders... He was an accidental president, the wrong man to lead Egypt at this crucial stage."
2) Saudi King Abdallah was first to congratulate the interim President and praised the Egyptian army for saving the situation.
3) A number of Arab leaders have since followed suit.
4) Americas Barack Obama's official statement, " The U.S. wants to see quick restoration of democratically elected government in Egypt."
Certainly this are changing times and proof once again that the voice of the people is the voice of God!
